According to God’s word, every believer is gifted by God for ministry, and every member should use his or her spiritual gifts in a place of ministry within the church.  Romans 12:6 says, "And since we have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let each exercise them accordingly…."  And Ephesians 4:11-12 states, "And He gave [spiritual gifts] for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, the building up of the body of Christ."

Committees
Unlike other ministries, recommendations for committee involvement are made by our Nominating & Governance Committee and committee involvement requires church membership.  Your name will be passed along to that committee for consideration.  Committee members serve on a three year rotation and new committee members are sought each August and September to begin service the following January.   NOTE: Before you can be nominated to serve on a committee, you must be a member of Carmel for 1 year prior to being nominated in November.
