2008 MISSIONS COMMITTEE
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."

PURPOSE
To provide opportunities for the congregation and to encourage the congregation to take the gospel to the ends of the earth, beginning in our own Jerusalem .  This committee, working with the Pastor of Reaching, organizes and administrates the mission activities of the congregation to its members.  The committee’s primary goal is to get the maximum number of  Carmel ’s members involved in global missions.

1.      To encourage Carmel Baptist to become an Acts 1:8 church.

2.      To involve both the Missions Committee and others in hands-on missions.

3.      To encourage a larger number of people to be personally involved in ministering to people with needs.

4.      To inform the congregation of the mission activities of its members.
