Christmas Party/ Mission Project

CHE families gathered on Saturday, Nov 11th, for our annual Feast at the James K. Polk Memorial Homesite in Pineville, NC. CHE families gathered on Monday, Dec 18th for our Christmas Party and mission project.
The CHE group collected items for US soldiers stationed in IRAQ.  At the Christmas party, we made treat bags for all 91 men in this troop.  We enjoyed special guests - Jay Hancock, who read a letter from one of the soldiers, Pam Stith, who shared a Christmas story with us, and Elizabeth Johnson, who lead in singing carols.  We had lots of fun!
