Counseling Center Mission Statement
The design of God is for every life to fully reflect His very nature and have meaningful impact for His glory. Jesus passionately and boldly proclaimed, “I have come that you might have life and have it abundantly.” John 10:10   >> History of Carmel Counseling Center Ministry

Philosophy and Objectives
Our belief is that the ultimate goal of Christian Counseling is to encourage each client towards a deeper dependency on and need for Jesus. All counseling services are designed to further the process of personal growth, both emotionally and spiritually as well as the development of meaningful relationships, both with God and others. The inerrant Word of God serves as our authority as we seek to apply biblical truth to the counseling process. Issues of greater clinical severity, those requiring special diagnosis or evaluation for possible medication will be referred to other psychological and medical professionals in the community.

Counseling Center Policies and Procedures

Confidentiality
All counseling is held in strict confidence between the client and counselor. The only exception to this policy occurs in the event of imminent danger (suicidal and/or homicidal threat and/or suspected child abuse). In such instances, proper help will be sought. All other outside consultation will require signed consent from the client.

Appointments

To schedule a session with one of our staff, please call the CCC office at 704-849-0686 Monday-Friday between 8:30am and 4:30pm. Evening appointments are sometimes available upon request.

Cancellation Policy
If, for any reason, you are unable to keep your appointment or need to cancel and reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. If you have not cancelled within 24 hours, you will be responsible for the session fee. The Counseling Center's main number, as well as each counselor, have voice mail boxes where you can leave a message.

Fee Structure

The church desires that biblical help be available to all church members who seek it regardless of financial ability. However, research has shown that when some payment is involved, clients work harder and feel greater impact in the counseling process. Therefore, the following fee structure is utilized:

1 hour session .................................. $70.00

Carmel Baptist Church members receive a $20 scholarship so their fee is $50. All fees are due upon completion of each session and are made payable to Carmel Baptist Church.
